Archive: September 2007: “Upwards Mobility” / Edge
Because I live on the moon or something, I still haven’t actually seen a physical copy of this, but I’m reliably informed by my eyes observing some scanned pages that an interview I performed with the jolly chaps at Capybara Games made it into the September issue of Edge, rather pleasingly. It’s glorious to see my work in one of the few remaining video games magazines of interest, even if it’s not obvious to anyone except myself.
Actually, I’m not sure I’m not breaking some terrible code of secrecy by revealing I’ve written for Edge - it’s entirely possible that Future publishing want everyone to think Edge is written by one bloke, presumably called “Edge”. A bit like Total!, where we were supposed to believe that the entire thing was written only by Steve Jarratt and Andy Dyer. Steve Jarratt was the first editor of Edge, too, funnily enough.
